INTERN POSITION SUMMARY

Intern responsibilities would include participating in the planning and completion of audits and/or tax returns; as well as assisting the team in client management and practice development activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  Be approximately 12 months from completing Bachelor’s Degree or 18 months from completing Master’s Degree.

  GPA average of 3.2 or higher.

  Possess good communication and computer skills.

  Ability to be team player with motivation to work in a fast paced environment.

AUDIT AND TAX ACCOUNTANT POSITION SUMMARY

The candidate would be responsible for delivering a full range of services to clients, including project and engagement management.  Responsibilities would also include planning, directing, and completing audits; reviewing financial statements; and assisting the team in client management and practice development activities.

  Masters of Accountancy or Bachelors degree in Accounting.

  GPA average of 3.2 or higher.

EXPERIENCED TAX ACCOUNTANT POSITION SUMMARY

The candidate would be responsible for delivering a full range of services to clients, including project and engagement management.  Responsibilities would also include preparation of tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations, and foreign entities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.  

   Prepare tax returns for S corporations, C corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, not-for-profits, employee benefit plans, and foreign clients.

  Maintain a good working relationship with clients while researching and consulting on various tax matters; utilize tax software to prepare and process returns.

  Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.

  Assist partners on proposals and business development calls.

  Involvement with the career development of team members.  

  Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  Current CPA license required.

  Minimum of 3 years of public accounting firm experience, with heavy concentration of Corporate Income Tax.

  Ability to manage multiple engagements in a team environment.

  Strong technical accounting and computer skills including tax preparation software.

  Strong leadership coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and project management skills.

  Ability to work additional hours as needed.

  Desire for advancement.
